Mangal Industry Limited was established with a bold vision to become a leader in Nigeria’s cement manufacturing sector and contribute to the growth of West Africa’s construction landscape. The company began operations in 2024, driven by a mission to address the rising demand for high-quality cement and infrastructure solutions in the country. The technological and environmental standards make the plant one of the few contemporary cement plants in the world. The plant integrates advanced technologies and adheres to high environmental standards, aligning with Mangal Industries’ commitment to sustainable industrial practices. The inauguration of the Mangal Cement Plant marks a pivotal development in Nigeria’s industrial landscape, promising enhanced infrastructure, economic growth, and increased employment opportunities.
A dedicated 50MW captive power plant, powered by five Wärtsilä 34DF dual-fuel engines, ensures a reliable energy supply, presently operating on liquid fuel. The management plans to transit to natural gas upon the completion of connecting pipeline.
Mangal cement plant sits in the geographic heart of Nigeria bordering ten (10) states, offering convenient access to major markets in both the northern and southern parts of the country. The central location reduces travel time and cost for cement distribution across Nigeria, improving supply chain efficiency.
